The SJCGA Spring Clay & Glass Festival is a vibrant celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community! Join us for a day filled with stunning handmade clay and glass, featuring talented local artists, live demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities to connect with makers and fellow art lovers. From functional pottery to sculptural works and luminous glass, there’s something to spark inspiration around every corner.

This lively spring gathering is more than a festival—it’s a chance to meet the artists, learn about their process, support local creatives, and celebrate the art forms that bring us together. Whether you’re a longtime collector, a curious first-time visitor, or a practicing artist, the SJCGA Spring Clay & Glass Festival is the perfect way to welcome the season and experience the energy of our growing clay and glass community.

Eligibility

To exhibit, you must be a current member of the San Joaquin Clay & Glass Association. Your membership fee MUST be paid prior to registering for festival. Your festival application will be rejected if you have not paid your 2026 membership fee. You must also meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have exhibited in past SJCGA shows, or

  • Submit photos of your original clay or glass work

Requirements

  • Work must be primarily made of clay or glass.

  • Clay work must be made from fired clay; work made with air-dry clay or polymer clay is not eligible.

  • All work must be designed and created by the exhibiting artist.

  • No buy/sell or commercially manufactured items are permitted.

  • Work must fall within the clay or glass mediums; mixed-media work must primarily feature clay or glass

  • The exhibiting artist must be present and operate their booth for the duration of the event.

  • You must have a California Sellers Permit. We are required by law to make sure all vendors have a current sellers permit. If you need to apply for one please visit - https://cdtfa.ca.gov/

Deadlines for New Exhibitors

  • Spring Show (Mother’s Day Weekend): Submit photos by April 25, 2026

  • Winter Holiday Show: Submit photos by November 10, 2026

Members who have not previously juried into an SJCGA show must complete the jury process before participating.

Fees

  • Booth Fee: 10’x10’ booth $50, 10’x 20’ $100, 6’ table $25

  • Commission: 10% of each artist’s total sales, paid to SJCGA at the end of the event

JUNE 2026 SJCGA MEMBERS EXHIBITION AT CLAY HAND

This is a showcase exhibition. We are seeking representative work from member artists working in clay, glass, or mixed media. Works must be comprised of mostly clay or glass and must fit through the door. Up to 3 pieces may be submitted.

Submissions must be delivered in person to Clay Hand Studios, 660 Van Ness Avenue, Fresno be May 26 - 30, 10am - 4pm. Clay Hand Studios will not ship.
