San Joaquin Clay and Glass Association Announces 45th Annual Spring Clay & Glass Festival

Fresno, CA — May 9, 2026 — The San Joaquin Clay and Glass Association (SJCGA) proudly presents its 45th Annual Spring Clay & Glass Festival, taking place on Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the beautiful grounds of Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 1084 W. Bullard Avenue in Fresno.

For 45 years, this festival has been a quietly celebrated tradition—something of a hidden gem within Central California’s arts landscape. That’s changing. Long regarded within the pottery, glass, and broader arts community as a standout event, SJCGA is expanding its reach and inviting the entire Central Valley to discover what artists and collectors have known for decades.

The Spring Clay & Glass Festival brings together a dynamic mix of established artists and emerging talent, showcasing an exceptional range of handcrafted ceramics and glasswork. Visitors can explore thoughtfully curated booths featuring everything from functional pottery and sculptural works to distinctive home décor and one-of-a-kind art pieces.

This year’s event continues SJCGA’s mission of supporting artists while creating an accessible, engaging experience for collectors, enthusiasts, and the simply curious. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their processes, and purchase work directly from the makers.

In addition to the artist marketplace, the festival offers a relaxed outdoor setting that invites guests to linger, discover new favorites, and enjoy the vibrant creative energy that has defined the event for over four decades.

For media planning coverage, the best time for filming opportunities and artist interviews is between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, when the festival is most active and artists are readily available.

Interviews or mentions in advance of the event are encouraged, and 15-, 30-, and 60-second video packages are available upon request.
