Who Can Apply?
The Clay & Glass Festival is open to California-based clay and glass artists. All applicants must sign up to become a SJCGA member before registering for the festival.
Current SJCGA members who have previously exhibited at the festival receive priority consideration for booth placement. We will do our best to accommodate booth location preferences, but priority does not guarantee a specific booth or location.
New exhibitors must submit photographs of their work with their application so SJCGA can confirm that their work is a good fit for the Clay & Glass Festival.
We celebrate the creativity and diversity of the clay and glass community and welcome artists working in a wide range of styles, techniques, and creative approaches.
Sharing a Booth: Two vendors may share one 10' × 10' booth space. If sharing a booth, both vendors must sign the Exhibitor Agreement and are jointly responsible for meeting all festival requirements.
What Can You Sell?
All work must be original, handcrafted work created by the Exhibitor.
Every item displayed or offered for sale must be primarily made from fired clay or glass. Other materials may be incorporated, but clay or glass must be the primary material of the finished piece.
This is a retail marketplace, so Exhibitors should arrive with a meaningful selection of finished work available for immediate purchase.
Your booth must not be primarily a display of samples for work that is only available by commission.
Fees, Registration & Sales
The booth fee is due when you register. Your application is not considered complete until payment is received.
Booth Fees:
10’x10’ Booth space - $50
6’ Table space - $40 (limited availability)
Once your registration and payment have been received, SJCGA will review your application and send you an email confirming your acceptance and booth assignment. If SJCGA determines that your work is not a fit for the Clay & Glass Festival, your booth fee will be refunded in full.
Please do not consider your space confirmed until you receive your official acceptance email from SJCGA.
All vendors must have a valid California Seller’s Permit to participate in the festival. Seller’s Permits are issued by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) and can be obtained through their website.
In addition to the booth fee, Exhibitors pay SJCGA a 10% commission on gross festival sales. Commission is due immediately following the event.
Registration fees are non-refundable after November 1. Fees may not be transferred to another person or exhibitor and cannot be held as a credit for a future festival or event.
