We’re excited to have you join us for the 45th year of the SJCGA Clay & Glass Festival!
For 45 years, artists, shoppers, and our creative community have come together to celebrate handmade art. With 50+ artists showcasing ceramics, blown and stained glass, sculpture, jewelry, home décor, and more, the festival is a great opportunity to showcase your work, make sales, meet new customers, and connect with fellow artists.
We want to see it all! From delightfully quirky and unexpected creations to sophisticated fine art, we welcome artists with unique styles and creative voices. If you make original clay or glass work you’re proud of, we want you to apply!
Before registering, please review the Exhibitor Agreement, which covers booth fees and commissions, setup and breakdown, display and sales guidelines, and other festival policies.
Bring your creativity. Bring your individuality. Come be part of it!
Who Can Apply?
Open to California clay and glass artists. Applicants must apply for SJCGA membership before registering for the festival.
New Exhibitors will be asked to provide photographs of their work with their application so SJCGA can confirm that their work is a good fit for the Clay & Glass Festival.
We want our festival to reflect the creativity and diversity of the clay and glass community, and we welcome artists working in a wide range of styles, techniques, and creative approaches.
Returning Exhibitors receive priority for booth assignments. We’ll do our best to accommodate booth location requests, but specific locations cannot be guaranteed.
What Can You Sell?
We love clay. We love glass. And we want shoppers to find plenty of it!
All work must be original, handcrafted work created by the Exhibitor.
Every item displayed or offered for sale must be primarily made from fired clay or glass. Other materials may be incorporated, but clay or glass must be the primary material of the finished piece.
This is a retail marketplace, so Exhibitors should arrive with a meaningful selection of finished work available for immediate purchase.
Your booth should not be primarily a display of samples for work that is only available by commission.
Fees, Registration & Sales
The booth fee is due when you register. Your application is not considered complete until payment is received.
Once your registration and payment have been received, SJCGA will review your application and send you an email confirming your acceptance and booth assignment.
If SJCGA determines that your work is not a fit for the Clay & Glass Festival, your booth fee will be refunded in full.
Please do not consider your space confirmed until you receive your official acceptance email from SJCGA.
All Exhibitors must have a valid California seller’s permit that is required by law and are responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales tax.
In addition to the booth fee, Exhibitors pay SJCGA a 10% commission on gross festival sales. Commission is due immediately following the event.
Registration fees are non-refundable after November 1. Fees may not be transferred to another person or exhibitor and cannot be held as a credit for a future festival or event.
