Bibi Bielat is a creative art director and marketing professional with 25+ years in design and video production. Having worked closely with top product and fashion photographers, she’s learned what makes images sell. She’s developed her own streamlined system for photographing artwork at home and she’s excited to share her tools, lighting, and branding insight to help fellow artists elevate their images.
What to Bring:
• Up to 12 pieces of your pottery or glass.
• Your own smartphone with camera or a DSLR camera.
• Most pieces should be under 20” tall x 20” wide. There will be one setup available for larger work. If you plan to bring multiple large pieces, please contact Bibi in advance, as they require additional lighting and set preparation.
How It Works:
• Several styled setups will be ready for you, each with a surface, backdrop, and professional lighting. Simply place your work and start shooting.
• Props will be available to use, and you’re encouraged to bring your own styling elements such as florals, linens, or small accent pieces that complement your work.
• You will take your own photographs and complete your own editing. Participants should feel comfortable using their phone’s camera and basic editing tools, including cropping and color adjustment.
• Bibi will be there throughout your session to assist with composition, adjust lighting as needed, and offer feedback.
• Sessions are scheduled in 2-hour blocks.
